Scholarships
Doctoral students, who participate in doctoral programs, can receive funding within the scope of the DFG Research Training Groups or the Doctorate Programs of the Elite Network of Bavaria. Applications for admission to a doctoral program should be made directly to the relevant program. For further information see: Doctoral Programs.
Scholarship programs for gifted students, countless foundations, the Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences, Research and the Arts, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) all offer individual funding for doctoral students.
