Atherosclerosis – Mechanisms and Networks of Novel Therapeutic Targets
DFG: SFB 1123 - Integrated Research Training Group
The Collaborative Research Center 1123 "Atherosclerosis – Mechanisms and Networks of Novel Therapeutic Targets" offers doctoral candidates an Integrated Research Training Group which addresses research questions to further understand atherogenesis, atheroprogression and atherothrombosis as the pathological sequence underlying coronary artery disease. The intention is to identify and verify novel targets inside the molecular networks for treating atherosclerosis.
Following the interdisciplinary research approach of the CRC doctoral candidates are supervised by principal investigators from various research institutions in Munich. Structure and content of the research training group are specifically tailored to the needs of the doctoral candidates. Attractive training, mentoring, and networking elements are on offer on national and international level.
