EUGLOH Mobility Program for Doctoral Candidates at LMU Munich
Together with the Universities of Lund (Sweden), Paris-Saclay (France), Porto (Portugal) and Szeged (Hungary), LMU Munich has successfully applied for funding within the "European Universities Initiative".
The "EUGLOH – European University Alliance for Global Health" will pool their expertise, platforms and resources to deliver joint curricula and training modules covering various disciplines related to Global Health.
Within the framework of EUGLOH activities, doctoral candidates of LMU Munich can apply for a mobility allowance. The allowance is provided by DAAD for research stays at the partner universities of the EUGLOH program (Lund University, University of Paris-Saclay, University of Porto, University of Szeged). The stay must be related to the individual doctoral project and should have a connection to the topic of Global Health.

Support scale | A doctoral candidate can apply for a stay of 1, 2 or 3 months. Shorter or longer stays are not eligible for funding. The mobility allowance is 1,200 Euro per month. |
Billing | When the grant is approved, it is possible to apply for an advance payment, which can amount to a maximum of 70 % of the approved mobility allowance. The final payment can only be made after submission of a report (about 2 pages) and on presentation of travel expenses and accommodation receipts. |

Your official supervisor needs to supply an academic reference letter (max. 1 page) explaining the purpose of the proposed trip. The reference letter must be sent directly to the GraduateCenterLMU by email (graduatecenter@lmu.de). |
